At Fairfield, we believe that how you learn is just as important as what you learn. Which is why we created a curriculum designed to help you do just that — to learn how to learn on a deeper level.

From exploring how creativity helps unlock new ideas to solving problems using research and statistics, the core Pathways are at the center of an undergraduate education. They'll help you discover your competencies and passions, and shape them into careers.

Along the way, you'll explore how different classes and majors relate to each other, like how social justice is connected to biology that relies on mathematics. new ideas and skills will build on one another to make you an adept, adaptable individual, capable of success wherever you go.

Campus Life

Student life at Fairfield University supports the Jesuit tradition of caring for the whole person by providing opportunities that engage students in meaningful activities designed for their living and learning experience. Along with meeting lifelong friends, Fairfield provides a rich opportunity to grow as a whole person with the help of mentors, professors and community members.

In this vibrant community with over 100 clubs and organizations, there are countless activities to choose from. Whether it is participating in an intramural sport, Broadway trip, Fairfield@Night event, attending an athletic games or quintessential events like Red Sea Madness, Alumni & Family Weekend, Presidential Ball or Midnight Breakfast there is always something to do.

Downtown Fairfield, which offers everything from great restaurants, shops, and theaters, is only a five-minute bus ride away. If you’re feeling adventurous, bike to the beach to catch a sunset or take a quick train ride from our Fairfield station to explore all that New York City has to offer. Financial Aid / Tuition

We're committed to every aspect of your education - including helping you afford it. Currently, 85% of our undergraduate students finance their education through a combination of scholarships, grants, work-study, graduate assistantships, and loans. Many of our graduate students also receive aid to help finance their education. We realize that every student has a unique set of circumstances, and we'll work with you one-on-one to do everything we can to help you attend Fairfield.
